The investigation led to xuione.com, described as a “massive IPTV provider” supporting numerous piracy schemes. Historical records show the website previously listed registration details indicating the owner was based in Herat, Afghanistan.

Afghan Connection Emerges

Researchers identified an individual based in Herat, Afghanistan, who they believe plays a significant role in the network’s operations. The investigation links him to jvtvlive.xyz, a service that allegedly streams content from major brands without authorization.

The affected companies include streaming giants Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV. Sports content from NFL, Premier League, Formula 1, NBA, NHL, WWE, and UFC also appears on the network.

Technical Infrastructure Details

The research team connected xuione.com to IP address 158.220.114.199, which hosts multiple apparent IPTV services.

The investigation also identified Tiyan Software Development, a business entity registered in Herat, Afghanistan, with apparent connections to the same individual.

According to the investigation, one website in the network claims to operate “2,000 servers in 198 countries.” Researchers indicate these bold claims appear accurate based on their tracking data.

Enforcement Challenges

While the evidence appears compelling, enforcement actions face significant obstacles.
